Homework Assignments
Second Graders are required to read every night for at least 15 minutes. The Student should record what they read in there Reading Log, and parents should initial it nightly.
Mondays- Write spelling words 5 times each in your best handwriting.
Tuesdays- Write your spelling words in ABC order. Complete the assigned page(s) in your math
practice book.
Wednesdays- Choose 10 spelling words and write them in a complete sentence. This means that the sentences should start with a capital letter, end with punctuation and be neatly written.
Thursdays- Study for the weekly Spelling test.
Fridays- No homework is assigned on weekends, but it is a good time to read together!
